November Busyness

What have I been busy with?? Well, puppies, puppies and more puppies! November and December are really busy this years- lots of puppies ready to go. I've also been a little busy making turkey and stuffing, 4 or them to be exact.

More pictures of the Zomer thanksgiving coming next week.

Help!

Can someone help me out here? I've been trying to publish a new post and when I upload the pictures about 1/2 of the picture is very distorted! Last week I had a problem with some of my pics too. Today all of them are distorted. Do you think it is a Blogger problem or my computer?

Very frustrating. . . . . .I have some awesome photos to show you : )

Garden Produce- Really?? Really!!

Can you believe it?? . . . . . .We are actually harvesting produce from our new garden!! After alot of frustrating years of nothingness, we finally came to the conclusion- our old garden plot was simply too shaded to grow anything- my brilliant brain at work again- thanks : ) So I suggested we put a new garden along the road where Grandma Schelling had her garden 70 years ago. Guess what- we can grow things! Even in a drought . . . . . . . . .

Tomatoes, pickles, zucchini, muskmelon- galore! Blogger is not cooperating with me this morning so excuse the next picture, I'll fix it when Blogger is more cooperative.

Cherry/Grape tomatoes-YUM!

And in the old garden plot- we planted 6 new fruit trees- plum, cherry and apple.

Brent, Dana and Houston's New Residence

We've been hard at work this week. . . . . . . . . . moving Dana into their new house with ALLLLL her stuff!!

A picture of the living room in the midst of the mess.

A couple kitchen shots.

Sisters tidying up the bathroom.

This room was the biggest challenge! Dana had to go through all those pre-marriage, pre-baby clothes and decide which ones were keepers.

Houston has a cute little bedroom. Dana plans to change the paint color to match the new crib bedding.

Here he is . . . taking his first nap in the crib in the new house.

Next . . .

the basement. Dana is quite spoiled!- A new LG washer and dryer pair!

The basement is partially finished off, a spare bedroom and rec room along with lots of closet space.

The lot is quite shaded with lots of big trees.

And has some pretty sweet landscaping!

This is the walkway beside the garage leading to the patio out behind the house.

I'm jealous, I wish I had a nice shady patio for sippin' lemonade!

Hey Levi, got your hands full?!

Snuggling with Houston's stuffed animals.

The table and chairs came in the box, so get to work guys : )

The finished product- beautiful! If we look a little hot. . . . . .it was hot! Heat indexes are over 100 degrees this week.

Now all we need is Brent! He should be here soon, he arrived in the US a couple days ago. He will be in Wisconsin for a little while and hopefully next week will join Dana and Houston in their new home.

Lake Mary Part II

Houston and Samuel were very content all week. They were up a little more during the night than usual but I guess that's probably because of the different sounds etc.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous! Our only complaint was the SKETTERS at dusk :( They were mammoth sized! We didn't get to sit around the fire at night very often.

Housy's new life jacket. . . . . . .he's all stuffed in!

The guys didn't catch as many fish as some years but they caught enough for the fish fry and plenty to take home.

One morning Greg cooked us a delicious breakfast. . . . . . .yum yum. . . .

Chocolate doughnut mouth :) :)

An afternoon of great crappie fishing.

I'd call that a "FISH GRIN."

Brothers hanging out.

The "great walleye catch". . . . . Too bad they couldn't catch more of these beauties!

Playing games and eating snacks and eating snacks and eating snack and and. . . . . . . .

Goalie had an enjoyable week. He figured out how to slide out of his harness so part of the week he spent checking out the territory.

The group picture, just before departing for home- we hope to do again next year!
