Vacation Continues

We are enjoying our stay at Lake Mary. . . . .  Mealtimes on the bench for the two youngest.

It was quite windy Monday and Tuesday. They went fishing but no skiing or tubing. Today was awesome, hot and just a light breeze. We blew up the relaxation station- it is a hit!! They also got lots of tubing, skiing and wake boarding in.

A big sand hill for playing.

 A gazebo by the lakeside.

Housy found a little friend to give him rides in the wagon.

This morning we had a delicous breakfast, egg burritos-compliments of Dana. I almost forgot to take a picture before we scarffed them all up

Sharing papa's lap.

We have been eating way too much food and enjoying the large kitchen.

Vacation buddies. . . . .

The fishermen caught some nice crappie today.

Westridge Shores Resort at Lake Mary

We arrived at Westridge Shores Resort today. I'm hoping not to make those who could not join us jealous but it is an awesome place!! Our cabin is fabulous- 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 2 living rooms and a very nice kitchen with all the extras.

It looks a "lived in" but you can see we have lots of room.

This is the owners home and the lodge/office/store. The tables are for our outside eating pleasure.

The beach area is not as nice as our former resort- very little beach. We purchased a large relaxation station that we hope to try out tomorrow on the water.

Each cabin has its own swing to relax in.

Tyler-doing what he does best-?!

That's better Ty.

Sam -too cute in his little Nike outfit.

A boatful of fishermen and women tried their hand at crappie fishing- success!!
Levi caught the first one.

Levi is so "busy" having fun. He sure does wish Tuck and Jake were here : (

You need some water for that kayak Trev??

The fish cleaning is a family affair.

The boys have a great play area, bikes, wagons, art classes and etc.

Houston is having fun exploring.

It promises to be a fun week.

Papa's Little Chores Helpers

Levi has long been known as Grandpa's chores helper and now Houston is following in Levi's footsteps. You ask him if he wants to do chores with Grandpa and he runs to the baby gate by the entry door to go outside. It was so cute last night- Levi was holding Houston's hand, following Grandpa around the yard. I imagine it won't be long and Sammel will join in  : )

Good-bye Garages!!

The time has come to get rid of the 3 garage monster to make room for the new one. Trev had some fun with demolishing before Gene got started with the track hoe.

He used the track hoe from Hoogendoorn Construction.

Trev and I stood and watched- he captured the whole thing on video on his new gaming system. Maybe if I'm tech-savvy enough, I can put that on the blog sometime- hee hee.

The whole process took less than a half hour. The last of it came down with quite a crash! It was rather fun to watch.

Then he scooped it all on to piles and smashed it down and we started the fire and slowly fed it. We had to be careful that the whole thing didn't burn at once since it was close to the house and the vinyl siding would melt.

There were some water line repairs and capping to be done. Ty even had  a chance to run the equipment.

The next morning Gene loaded up the cement foundation and footings and hauled it away.

I haven't taken a picture yet of the big empty space- maybe tomorrow.
