He arrived today! . . . . . Asher Leo- 7 lbs 6 oz, 19.5 inches

He's the sweetest little boy. . . all squishy, cuddly and newborn smelling.

These 2 are such a hoot :)

He's a keeper for sure.

A Little More of Florida

On Saturday morning we went to watch Ava at her dance class. (I took the pictures through glass- a little fuzzy).

I just love this look :)

Ty liked to horse around with Trev. We went to the aquarium in Tampa on Saturday afternoon.

I don't have very many pictures of Ty, as soon as he saw me with my camera he would evade me- and he is very, very quick!

This pictures is what I think of when I am looking out my window and it's cloudy, windy and cold in the middle of February. Somewhere it is 75 degrees, sunny and beautiful.

More People to Meet!

We got to meet a couple new people - Jailene . . . .

 . . . . . . . and Ty.

We were so happy to finally get to meet them!

Ty is an active, ball throwing, running, chasing ball of fire :) -- fits right in with the Hoogendoorns Ha Ha!

He and Ava get along great, they are only a few months apart in age.
This picture reminds me so much of Joni, I have an almost identical picture of Joni when she was 5 yrs old doing this. One eye looking at me and the other eye following the liquid through the straw- hilarious!

And just to clairfy, that is white sand we are posing on, not snow.

It's hard to imagine warm beaches at sunset when we came home to below zero temps.
I have lots more to share next week.

Florida/Day 1

Well, I'm finally getting to this- it takes awhile to edit 184 pictures!
Here's our rental vehicle. It's a Ford Escape, it did travel nicely- although I won't be going out to buy one, it's the wrong brand :)

We spent our first day at Honeymoon Island, a small island that you can drive to across a bridge(causeway). It is a quiet and mostly undeveloped island. The beach is beautiful, lots of white sand and shells.

And this piece of chicken- maybe- caused Trev a miserable 3 days!!
I think he had a case of food poisoning, later that day he got very sick and spent the next 3 days not far from a restroom.

Later in the day we meet Greg and Ava!

She has grown so much! It was so good to see them both.
Here she is playing monster with a piece of dried up vine that grows on the trees down there.

She's telling us she is "3" and will be 4 soon.

More coming soon. . . . . .
